Telecast Communications: Master Service Agreement & Privacy Policy

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Telecast Communications website or using our fiber, wireless, or VoIP services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the full Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) found at www.telecastwifi.com/aup.

2. Description of Services

Telecast Communications provides high-speed fiber internet, fixed wireless broadband, VoIP telephony, and hardware sales. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services to maintain network integrity or comply with regulatory changes.

3. User Obligations & AUP Highlights

You agree to abide by the full AUP, including but not limited to:

  • Identity Verification: As of 4/1/25, a valid driver's license or government ID is required for installation.

  • Prohibited Sharing: You may not "split" or share your circuit with other households or units via wired or wireless extenders.

  • Bandwidth Threshold: To ensure fair access, "Excessive Usage" is defined as daily usage exceeding 300GB for more than three consecutive days.

  • Illegal IPTV: Telecast does not support or endorse illegal IPTV services (e.g., vSee, SuperBox) that violate copyright laws.

4. Network Management & Performance (SLA)

  • Speed Guarantee: We aim for high reliability; typical customer speeds are expected to be within 75% of the subscribed package speed during peak hours on average.

  • Third-Party Equipment: Telecast does not support or troubleshoot customer-owned routers. Issues caused by third-party hardware may incur a service call fee.

  • Demarcation: Speed and latency are verified at the point of demarcation (our outside equipment) unless otherwise specified.

5. Billing, Cancellations & Equipment

  • Late Fees & Suspension: Invoices past the due date incur a 10% compounding late fee. Service is suspended at 7 days overdue and terminated at 30 days.

  • Cancellations: You are liable for service charges until a formal cancellation notice is submitted. Pre-pay accounts are non-refundable. Service can be cancelled at telecastwifi.com/cancel. Customer is responsible for their bill until a cancellation notice is submitted. Upon cancellation, equipment must be arranged for pickup within 30 days.

  • Equipment Care: Customers must keep Telecast equipment clean and free of debris or pests. Devices returned with evidence of animal damage or infestations (roaches, bedbugs, etc.) will be billed at the full cost of the device.

  • Returns: Refunds or credits for service are handled on a per-instance basis. Credit Card refunds will be initiated within 7 days of the customer request. A ticket will be created to track the refund process. 

6. Privacy Policy & Data Handling

I. Information We Collect

We collect Personally Identifiable Information (Name/Address/ID), Service Data (IP/MAC addresses), and CPNI (Customer Proprietary Network Information), which includes call detail records (CDRs) for VoIP users.

II. How We Use Your Information

  • Operational Use: Billing, troubleshooting, and network optimization.

  • SMS Consent: By submitting a service request, you consent to receive SMS or phone calls regarding account status and offers. You may opt-out by emailing support@tckywisp.com.

  • Legal Compliance: We comply with valid subpoenas and CALEA law enforcement requests.

III. Data Retention & Security

  • Retention: CDRs are retained for 18 months per industry standards.

  • Security: We use AES-256 encryption and TLS/SSL to protect data during transmission.

IV. CPNI Rights

Telecast Communications has a duty to protect your CPNI. We do not sell your personal data or CPNI to third-party marketers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Telecast is not liable for failures caused by "Acts of God" (lightning, tree falls, etc.). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telecast's liability is limited to the service credits outlined in our SLA.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky.
